Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Sefidanis LLC collects when you use sefidanis.com, the Sefidanis Academy and our online shop, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We follow the Law on Personal Data Protection of N. Macedonia. We collect only what we need, we do not sell your data, and you can contact us about it at any time.

Who is responsible

The controller of your data is Sefidanis LLC, Blvd. Makedonski Prosvetiteli 36, 6000 Ohrid, N. Macedonia, Registration No. 7602880. For anything concerning your data write to human@sefidanis.com or call +389 (0)70 210 000.

What we collect and why

  • Account and profile. Name, email address, username, password (stored encrypted) and the details you add to your profile. We use them to create and secure your account and to let you use the Academy. Basis: the contract with you.
  • Learning. The courses you enrol in, your progress, quiz and assignment results, the work you submit and the certificates you earn. We use them to deliver the courses, assess your work and issue certificates. Your progress is visible to you and to your instructors. Basis: the contract with you.
  • Orders. Your name, billing and delivery address, phone number, the products or courses you buy and the payment record. We use them to take and deliver orders, issue receipts and invoices, provide warranty service and keep the accounts the law requires. Basis: the contract with you and our legal obligations.
  • Payment. Card and account details are entered with the payment provider shown at checkout and never reach our servers. We receive only a confirmation and a transaction reference.
  • Messages. What you send us through the contact forms, by email or by phone, together with your contact details, so that we can answer you. Basis: our legitimate interest in replying to you, or the contract if your message concerns an order.
  • Newsletter. Your email address, if you subscribe. We send you news about Sefidanis until you unsubscribe, which you can do through the link in every message. Basis: your consent.
  • Comments. If you comment on the blog, your name, email address, comment and IP address. The comment and name are published; the address is used to detect spam. Basis: your consent.
  • Technical data. IP address, browser, device, pages visited and time of visit, recorded in server logs and in visitor statistics. We use them to keep the site secure and to understand how it is used. Basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure site.

Cookies

The site sets cookies that are necessary for it to work: they keep you logged in, remember your cart and your course session, and protect forms against abuse. These need no consent. The site can also set statistics cookies and cookies from embedded social media feeds and videos; these are used only with your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time through the cookie settings on this site and in your browser. Blocking all cookies in your browser may stop the shop and the Academy from working.

Who else sees your data

We share data only with providers that help us run the site, and only for that purpose: our hosting provider, the payment providers named at checkout, the carriers that deliver orders, the email service that sends our messages, the spam-filtering and statistics services of Automattic (Jetpack and Akismet) and, where enabled, Google Analytics, and the social networks whose content is embedded on our pages. Some of these providers operate outside N. Macedonia; we transfer data to them only where the law allows it, under contracts that require them to protect it. We also disclose data when a court or an authority lawfully requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Account and learning data: for as long as your account exists. Certificates are kept so that they can be verified, unless you ask us to delete them.
  • Order and payment records: for the period the accounting and tax laws require, currently ten years.
  • Messages: up to three years after our last exchange, unless they concern a contract or a dispute.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Server logs and statistics: up to twelve months.

Your rights

You may ask us at any time to tell you what data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict its use, to give it to you in a portable form or to transfer it to someone else. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and you may withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting what was done before. Write to human@sefidanis.com; we answer within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Agency of N. Macedonia or to the data protection authority of the country where you live.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, passwords are stored encrypted, access to data is limited to the people who need it, and the servers are kept updated and backed up. No system is completely secure; if a breach ever puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the authority as the law requires.

Age

The Academy and the shop are for people aged 18 or over, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy when the law, our services or our providers change. The current version is always on this page; for changes that affect you we also tell you by email.
